Day 38 New Orleans, Louisiana

The plan today was to go on the legendary Annie Miller swamp and marsh tour. However, this was in the afternoon so Duffy and I had to waste the morning playing the Wii and Xbox. After an intense session we agreed on another truths and headed out to Houma to begin the tour. After a brief Taco Bell stop, we arrived at start and before stepping in the steel boat we saw a large alligator basking on a wooden platform. Within in minutes were saw more baby alligators, several species of bird and loads of cute turtles. The canals turned into marsh and then swamp. The cypress trees were covered in Spanish moss giving them an eerie appeal. The 2 hour tour was surprisingly enjoyable and well worth doing.

In the evening we went to a local Italian restaurant as Tuesday is 2 dollar pitcher day. Several pitches and a 14inch pizza later I was sufficiently stuffed and we retired back to the house. After being whipped by Kayla at bowling on the Wii I went to bed in a bad mood! I am sure my controller was damaged!
